It’s exactly what I was expecting when I ordered it. Very lightweight bike but believe it will work very well for me as I’m having total knee replacement in a month. I bought this recumbent to help me after surgery. I believe it will work fine for this. Would not suggest anyone buy this machine if your wanting a heavy duty machine.
I found hooking up the Tension Cable was easier if I did it before assembling anything else first. I laid the main unit on it side and attached the Upper Tension Cable to it. I found this to be extremely easy and took me only seconds to make the connection. After screwing it together, I resumed assembling it according to the directions. Took me lest than 45 minutes to complete the total assembly of the unit.
I believe it will serve me well and worth the money spent.
Everything as seen in the picture we very well packed and protected. More than I expected actually which is good. The heaviest part was the main part where the peddle crank is attached. Everything else was manageable alone. The supplies and tools come in a blister pack, itemized and labeled in detail. No one can mess this up putting it together. The manual is written perfectly for easy set up.
It took me 2 hours to put together but, that's because I was also watching TV and snacking on Pringles at the same time. I could of put it together a lot sooner if it wasn't for that.
One thing I want to mention is that a few negative reviews complained about the LCD Computer not working from the beginning. I think this is because they didn't connect it properly. It not difficult, just slightly detailed needed attention when doing it. Also, it needs 2 AA Batteries not included.
Once put together, the bike is comfortable. Easy to use and also very easy to move around since it has wheels. It's very quiet and smooth. I recommend this bike because as a Cardiac patient, if I was able to put it together and use it with comfort and ease, then you too can and enjoy becoming healthier using this bike, sans the Pringles. Definitely worth buying.
Couldn't take a full picture of the bike completed because we are emptying out the garage and didn't have the space yet while doing this review but, it looks just as in Amazon.
So I saw that it had a good price and we asked for it and it arrived here in the Dominican Republic,
1) IN very good condition
2) it was very easy to put it together
3) its material is of quality
4) it has worked quite well for me and I like the modalities
5) I especially love back support, I suffer from back pain.
6) dosent make a lot of noise

You can buy it, it is very good
Overall, would I recommend this bike?
Yes, I would. I've had no issues, and It's perfect.
The only problem I had was it was delivered with a large long hole on the box container that caused a small dent on the bike case. The delivery people are to blame. I decided to let it go but am disappointed since I am basically a perfectionist.
Usar la bicicleta es cómodo y silencioso. La compré para mi madre que está mal de una rodilla y para mí que debo ejercitar en casa. La recomiendo.
I ordered it from Panama and arrived in just a week. It came very well packed. Putting it together was easy, it took me 2 hours, with help of youtube videos; I also recommend reading the manual because the youtube video I saw put some screws in the wrong place. Ussing it is very confortable and silent. I bought it for my mother who has an issue with her knee and for me, I should do some excercise at home. Recommended.
I have long legs, and at the longest extension, it is a bit jiggly, but it's not bad. Just to have a recumbent bike at home will be easier than driving over to the gym; I'll likely ride it more as I watch TV.
I'm quite offended by the instructions which chart heart rates for ages 20 - 75. I'm 75 1/2! My Mom is 99. Do you think people just die at 75?
The seat was quite squeeky until I got two wrenches including a socket and really tightened them down! Now, no more squeeks!
Overall, I am pleased with this purchase!

The instructions were excellent and without typos, bad grammar and inaccuracies. The parts were individually packaged and the hardware was in a blisterpack with an illustration.
You’ll definitely want a 2nd pair of hands a few times.
As this is day one, there’s no long-term feedback to give, but with about a half hour of use the machine is performing well. It’s whisper-quiet and adequately strong.
For an entry-level
It came with parts and instructions. I put it together myself in about an hour or so. Having an extra set of hands would've probably helped but it wasn't difficult so if you have to do it alone, you can.
It is quiet and the display lights up! I got this because I wanted to exercise while playing video games and watching tv. My mom has the same model and loves hers so I knew I could trust the Marcy brand. The seat is comfy and I feel I get a good workout (even if the resistance only goes to 8). This is a great alternative to driving to a gym. Definitely worth adding to your home gym!
My only complaint is that it is difficult to move the seat back or forward, and requires effort. Other than that, I highly recommend this bike to add for your home fitness routine.
Silent. Sturdy construction. It took me a little over an hour to set up (by myself), and I am not mechanically inclined.
If someone says the tension/difficulty on the bike does not change, they probably messed up the step where you attach the tension cable (the only difficult step in setting up the bike; the rest is easy).
It was REALLY easy to figure out which bolt/nut was which because of the package they sent the parts in (see pic)
PRO'S
VERY QUIET. Like a light hiss.
Solid construction. I'm 180lbs and it barely wiggles
The computer doesn't reset the odometer when you push reset. I don't care, but may be motivational to see your total distance travelled.
The screen is big and easy to see
Difficulty setting 1 is VERY EASY to push, and setting #8 is VERY HARD to push.
The pedals have this little wedge of foot support (see pic) that I think is more supportive than the standard oval-shaped pedals you see on a lot of bikes.
The seat and back support seems like the rubber it is made from will last, and the seams on the stitching seem pretty good for mass produced Chinese product that costs $170
This bike seems like a crazy good deal for how solid/quiet/overall good it feels
CON'S
Kind of a CON. The slide to change the distance to the pedals requires you to get off, and change it. Which is fine for couples or if you never want to change the leg-to-pedal distance while you are still biking.
No phone holder. You should go buy a bike with that feature of you want that.
No water bottle holder, so if you want that, go buy a different bike.
I don't have huge feet and I had to use the largest setting on the straps. I bet some 6'4" dude with big feet would have a problem.
If your ass is on the huge side, or you're a big dude, the 18" wide seat probably won't have your entire ass supported (but most of it will), and the pedals are set to an average person's hip width, (so you'd be pedaling with your legs SLIGHTLY inward? Maybe?)
It uses meters instead of miles (but us Americans/Brits should have changed to the metric system back in the 80's...)
It uses two AA batteries for the computer? It's a LCD screen, so this is barely a CON because those batteries will last 3-7 years with how little LCD screens drain a battery.
TIPS
You should still throw a towel over the back support to prevent the rubber getting degraded by sweat (ever seen the wear-n-tear on the back supports on a gym's recline bikes?)
You can press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds, and it will wipe all of the fields (except the odometer)
Tuck your feet in as deep as they will go onto the pedals, to avoid fatigue in your feet arches (unless you got flat feet, then you're fine)
ALL bikes exaggerate the calories burned (imo), so take what it says and times the amount by 80% (example: 500 x .80 = 400).
In your first week or two do not try to bike for 90 minutes, 2+ miles per session, or use crazy high difficulty settings. You may hurt yourself. Always ramp up if you are out of shape. There's no rush.

I hope this incredibly long review helps people! Congrats on trying to have a healthier life!
The price is amazing too, very happy with that.
Only flaw was that my display case was cracked (see pictures). However, the bike and display is fully functional so that is good :)
It does have rolling wheels on the front to allow for ease of moving it, but I have carpet and it doesn't help much. That said, it is not a particular heavy/hard to move piece of equipment.
I can't overstate how quiet this unit is. It makes it really easy to move it in front of the TV and watch an episode or two while getting a good cardio workout in. I was torn between no stars and five stars for noise level because I'm an idiot and was confused about which would mean it was quiet. Ultimately, I decided 5 stars. This thing passes any noise test for all exercise equipment I have ever used.
The only downside to this model is the lack of a pulse monitor. While it would have been nice to have, it isn't entirely necessary for me.
The 7 different intensity levels are nice, though I am admittedly out of shape and have only made my way up to level 2. There is a very clear increase in resistance for each level and the mechanism is easy to operate.
Overall, if you're looking for an affordable, quiet, easy way to burn some calories at home, you won't be disappointed with this stationary bike.
It's a good sturdy bike with the ability to vary in resistance and length (I'm 5-11 and it adjusts to fit a person even taller if need be!). The display can toggle between distance, calories, time, etc. It is easy to read.
I am very happy with my purchase as the quality is good, assembly easy, and price excellent!
Very easy to adjust and use and very comfortable
Bot very fancy as far as settings go but for the price is exactly what we wanted to put in front of the tv so we could watch movies or play games while biking.
1. Easy to assemble. Took me about 30-40 minutes. Just make sure that the bolts are tight but not over tightened.
2. Very comfortable overall. The only issue that arose was my tailbone really hurt after some time sitting on it so I bought a memory foam cushion with the tailbone cut out. (See pic). That solved any Glut/tailbone pain issues. Now I can sit and exercise as long as I want with nolower back pain.
3. Very quiet. When I am in the living room watching TV, I am sitting on this bike exercising.
4. For the price, this is exactly what I needed for calorie burning. I have medical issues and am very limited on my exercise options. This fixed that.
5. I am not sure what is up with my LCD display. Mine only has (Total Time:Steps: Calories: and Total Steps). The actual display program does not match the wording under the display. They may have changed the display program without updating the info printed on the outside of the LCD display. But its enough info for me.
6. So overall this bike is perfect for somebody with issues below the waste and can't exercise like biking, walking, stepping etc.
Highly recommend this bike!
Anyway, this Marcy was easy enough for me to assemble by myself in a little over an hour. However, there was a small problem with my unit which the factory may or may not have already addressed by now, but one nevertheless, which I thought I should mention here. Mainly, the u-shaped mounting brackets for both the seat and handlebars were a slightly too wide, and slightly too deep, hence both seat and handlebars could be moved forward/backwards, and from side-to-side when I finished the assembly. This was a fairly simple fix for me (probably not so easy for those of you without tools and/or mechanical skills, though); I just put each side of the brackets in my bench vise, and then carefully bent them inward until they matched the width of the mounting frame. Then I cut two rectangular pieces of black fiber gasket material (hardware store stock) and put them in the flat parts of the brackets. Using a little "elbow grease" to line up the bolts, I bolted everything back up, and eureka!—handlebars are nice and snug now. A big hammer might work too, although I would highly recommend using a couple of blocks of wood (one about the width of the frame) to avoid damage and uneven results.
The bracket issue notwithstanding, this unit is very well made, very quiet, and the display not only works, but is easy to read too. I've been riding this machine three times a day, for about 15 minutes each time, on tension level seven and incorporating Tabata training at about the halfway point since day one—for about a month now. I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Bike's a very good deal at this price point!
Update: I've been using this bike for almost three years now (up to level eight after a few weeks) and it's still functioning perfectly. I've been using it two or three times a week to warm up before doing some light weight training, and using it more often in the colder months when I'm just not in the mood for riding my real bikes in the snow.
Being the occasional outside-the-box thinker that I am, I tried mounting the handlebars upside-down as an experiment, and much to my surprise ... discovered I really prefer them upside-down. Especially when doing Tabata on the 20-sec all-out-push cycle, because I'm able to push harder against the bars, thus achieving stronger contractions in upper-body muscles, pedal faster, and raise the overall intensity level of the workout.
