I was asking my friend (a fitness trainer) what kind of exercises I can do to make my abdominals slim down, as I'm afraid the exercises I've been doing are probably making my core muscles bulky. He told me to get an ab wheel, and I'm not gonna lie, I was not liking that answer. But I ordered this one, as he recommended it. The product seems very sturdy and well put together. I mainly just used it the standard way that you use an ab wheel (knees on the floor, rolling the wheel out in front of you and then rolling it back toward you). I expected my lower back to be sore the next day, but what I've noticed is that my shoulders are actually a little sore. I guess from stabilizing my upper body. Anyway, I played around later with the foot pedals, and figured out another exercise I can do to help with horse riding. Equestrians (particularly dressage riders) are always looking for exercises to strengthen core and increase hip flexibility. This wheel can really do a lot to improve overall core fitness.
